The Boat Transfer to the Amazon Village Jungle Lodge:
You will reach the “Meeting of the Waters” to witness one of the most awe-inspiring sights in all of nature. Here the murky waters of the “Solimões River” meet the black “Rio Negro” waters, continuing to flow together for miles without intermingling and forming then the amazing “Amazon River”. Your boat navigates alongside the two different colored waters – an incredible sight.

RECONNAISSANCE TOUR (AV 03) – (Duration: 03 hours):  

Departure around 09:00 hrs or 15:00 hrs in motorized canoe with guide to visit the river area inlets and floaded forest.   

SUNRISE TOUR (AV 04) –  (Duration: 02 hours):

Departure around  05:30 hrs in  motorized canoe with guide to  admire the  sunrise in the Amazon. Return in time for breakfast.

SUNSET TOUR (AV 05) –  (Duration: 02 hours):

Departure around 17:00 hrs in motorized canoe with guide to enjoy the sunset in the Amazon. Return in time for dinner.

JUNGLE TREK (AV 06) –  (Duration: 03 hours):

Departure around 09:00 hrs or 15:00 hrs walking or in motorized canoe with guide until appropriate area to enter the jungle. The guide will lead the hikers on a trek through the rainforest, educating them about the local flora and fauna.

FISHING TRIP AND VISIT TO A NATIVE “CABOCLO” DWELLING (AV 07) –  (Duration: 03 hours):
Departure around 09:00 hrs or 15:00 hrs in motorized canoe with guide to try to catch local fish, such as, tucunaré, tambaqui and piranha. Afterwards, travelers will learn about the customs and way of life of these native inhabitants, descendants of the indians.

ALLIGATOR SPOTTING TOUR (AV 08) –  (Duration: 02 hours):

Departure around 20:00 hrs in motorized canoe with guide, in search for alligators called “caimans”. The night tour is a worthwhile, where you can also observe the stars in the sky shining like rubies. The “caimans” once they are paralized by the light of the flashlight, their eyes go red, enabling the guide to easily locate them. The guide on board the canoe will approach a certain distance from the alligators for observation and will explain about the species.  Afterwards, we return to the Lodge and before sleep we suggest you to take a “caipirinha” to warm the spirit and remember the adventures of the day.
